Payment Information
- Payment is requested after service.
- Payment is by bank transfer to a Japanese bank account, or for those who have American bank accounts, by mailing of personal check (100 yen = $1 exchange rate).
- Deadline:Please make payment within 2 weeks of receipt of manuscript deemed by editor to be ready for submission.
- Penalty for late payment: I will send two reminders. If payment is not received after the second reminder, the corresponding author's name, department, and institution will be displayed on this website. This information will be withdrawn after payment is confirmed.
- There will be no late fee.
Miscellaneous
- Manuscripts involving mathematics are encouraged.
- Contact, communication will fundamentally be by e-mail because of the time difference between the US and Japan. However, if you prefer telephone contact, please be aware that the hours will be limited to 9 AM - noon, Japanese time.
- I check my e-mail frequently, and will always respond to queries promptly. If you do not receive a response, there is a possibility that your e-mail may have been spam filtered. Please send a confirmation request e-mail.
- Please send manuscripts as Microsoft Word or Open Office formatted files.
- Holidays There is a tendency for job requests to concentrate near the Christmas and summer holidays. For job requests received at such times, I may request an extra week or two over the times listed above. I will notify clients in such cases.
